Role Overview
The Modality Sales Leader (MSL) serves as the primary liaison between the GE HealthCare (GEHC) Interventional Solutions (IS) business and the VasoHealthcare sales organization. The role is responsible for driving modality strategy, sales execution, field enablement, and business performance to achieve or exceed annual Operating Plan objectives.
In addition, this role is responsible for developing and executing VasoHealthcare’s Cardiology growth strategy, including identifying new market opportunities, expanding the company’s presence within cardiovascular care settings, and creating incremental cardiology opportunities across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Interventional Solutions Modality Leadership
- Serve as the primary liaison between GE HealthCare Interventional Solutions leadership and the VasoHealthcare sales organization.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve or exceed annual Operating Plan objectives.
- Maintain expertise in IS products, clinical applications, workflows, customer requirements, and competitive positioning.
- Partner with Region Managers on business planning, forecasting, opportunity reviews, and sales execution to maximize regional and national performance.
- Collaborate with GEHC modality leadership on product positioning, pricing, promotions, and portfolio planning.
- Communicate sales strategies, product updates, and competitive insights while delivering training to Account Managers, Region Managers, and new hires.
- Develop reference sites, customer advocacy programs, and growth initiatives that expand market share and improve win rates.
Cardiology Growth Leadership
- Define and execute the company’s Cardiology growth strategy, including expansion of the ASC/OBL market as a key growth segment for both the Cardiology and Interventional Solutions businesses.
- Directly manage the Business Development Leader, ASC/OBL Market, including responsibility for performance, development, coaching, and execution of ASC/OBL growth initiatives.
- Identify and prioritize high-growth market segments and strategic cardiovascular opportunities.
- Serve as the Cardiology subject matter expert, supporting VAMs, VRMs, and SPRs in account strategy, opportunity development, and customer engagement.
- Drive pipeline development, opportunity progression, and strategic deal support to accelerate growth and improve win rates.
- Build relationships with key cardiology stakeholders and expand reference sites, centers of excellence, and industry partnerships.
- Collaborate with GEHC leaders and other modality sales leaders to identify opportunities and deliver solution-based strategies across the cardiovascular care pathway.
Commercial Enablement and Business Performance
- Analyze funnel health, win rates, market share, and commercial performance to identify growth opportunities and improve execution.
- Leverage Salesforce, CON data, and market intelligence to prioritize opportunities and guide business strategy.
- Partner with Commercial Enablement, Sales, and Operations leadership on strategic initiatives and business planning activities.
- Provide executive leadership with market insights, competitive intelligence, and recommendations that support profitable growth.
Qualifications / Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Imaging Technology, or a related field.
- Ten or more years of experience in medical imaging sales, product marketing, sales leadership, or commercial management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Interventional Solutions, cardiovascular markets, clinical workflow, and competitive positioning preferred.
- Strong strategic planning, communication, presentation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Proven ability to influence without direct authority and drive results through collaboration.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
